From disobedience to the emergence of a new concept :
Let me introduce myself, Vincent Laroche, disabled people assistant, with a technical background,
My conviction is summarized by Michel Millot proverbe : “There is no innovation without disobedience”.
I chose to disobey today's normality which compels reduced mobility people to remain soiled with feces in a adult diaper for too long. I then explored technical solutions using compressed air to help reduced mobility people who cannot undress and transfer themselves to the toilet.
After many researchs and prototype manufacturing, I managed to turn compressed air energy into three elementary functions (soon to be four), which assist a bedridden person or a seated person on an electric wheelchair before, during, after elimination, without the help of a carer.
Our professional supports
From idea to prototype, from proof of concept to profitable business:
I have a lot of gratitude for the support I have received from the following people
Mr. Serra,
VALATEX company CEOsupplier of the
latex parts
Mr. Herrgott,
Projects & business development manager,KNF company, supplier of the
variable flow pumps.
Mr. CM Leung,
Technical Supportin charge of subcontractors control for prototype spare parts manufacturing
I would like to thank them, as well as all the other people who contributed their skills, to allow me to present to you today those medical device projects.
Thanks to all my friends for their unfailing support and their confidence in my R&D creative efforts.
After presenting the ICK1-P1 prototype to several healthcare executives in clinics and hospitals, I know how it is perceived.
I also know ICK-1 specificities which are appreciated and expected.
The next step is to modify the current device specifications for its use for the benefit of bedridden obese patients, with an obesity treatment center partnership. You are invited to contribute your skills and capital to build a solid and complementary team to continue this useful and fruitful entrepreneurial adventure.
